Biography
David’s desire to capture the essence of the world’s’ mystique and share that feeling has led to a life of visual storytelling. The vibrance of color created by light and shadow is collectively shared in a way to express emotion and tell a story.
Whether it be narrative, documentary, music video, or live event productions, these moving pictures and sound designs are carefully crafted to create atmosphere and enhance audiences’ viewing and listening experiences. David is here to help tell stories through exceptional camera work, lighting scenes, recording sound, and post production work.
David was born in L.A. and raised in Portland, Oregon. His parents emigrated from Guatemala and he was the first of his family born in the U.S. Since then, he’s had a passion for movies and TV, music, and the arts. He also has a deep connection with the natural world and spends much of his free time in outdoor recreations.
David studied business at Oregon State University and recently completed an associates of applied science in Video Production and Emerging Medias at Portland Community College.
